The 70 kWh lithium-ion battery supports AC charging, taking 7 hours for a full charge, and DC fast charging, reaching 80% in 43 minutes. Additionally, the Marvel R supports V2L (vehicle-to-load) technology.

The MG Marvel R has the following dimensions: it is 4,674 mm long, 1,919 mm wide, and 1,613–1,618 mm high (adjustable). The wheelbase is 2,804 mm, and the ground clearance is 132 mm. It has a curb weight of 1,920 kg, a cargo capacity of 453 kg, and a maximum roof load of 50 kg.
