Latest Update: 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 20th anniversay edition will go on sale in summers this year, with a starting price of $69,595.

Rubicon is a brand-new trim level for the Jeep Wrangler. It is named after a well-known California off-road trail, and Jeep is naturally commemorating the occasion with a limited-edition Wrangler. In fact, there are two celebrating. Take a deep breath and welcome the limited-edition 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 20th Anniversary edition, which is available only in the 4xe or 392 trim levels.

The same 20th-anniversary upgrades are present in both Wranglers, and despite the fact that this is primarily an appearance package, there are some mechanical upgrades. In addition to bolting up beadlock-capable wheels and a half-inch suspension lift, the Hemi-powered 392 comes equipped with an onboard air compressor. American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) offers an optional Level II upfit for either trim if those features aren’t enough. That comes with off-road tires measuring 37 inches, a winch, AEV bumpers and skid plates, upgraded suspension, off-road lights, an AEV steering damper, a tire carrier, and a 4.56:1 axle ratio on the 4xe.

The 20th Anniversary edition adds a “new interpretation” of Jeep’s seven-bar grille with a triple-hoop grille guard, which is one of the standard exterior enhancements. An 83-piece tool kit is installed, steel bumpers are bolted on, an integrated front off-road camera is added, and 20th Anniversary badges are applied. A unique red-and-black cockpit with leather seats and red leather on the instrument panel bolster accommodates the driver and passengers.
