Latest Update: 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Class expected launch in second half of 2024, likely to cost $150,000 and above.

The luxurious and familiar Mercedes-Benz G-Class of 2025 has seen a few major modifications. It has been regarded as an automotive sign for a long time, and it’s supporting the management of the business in luxury off-road vehicles once more.

The all-new Mercedes-Benz G 500 has a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with twin turbocharging, comprising an exhaust-gas turbocharger and an electric auxiliary compressor. This petrol engine pumps out 330 kW (449 hp) and a maximum torque of 560 Nm.

With the Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), it briefly produces power with an additional 15 kW (20 hp) and 200 Nm of torque and also powers the 48-volt onboard electrical system. Completing the engine lineup is the six-cylinder diesel variant, the Mercedes-Benz G 450 d, delivering 270 kW (+15 kW) (367 hp + 20 hp) and 750 (+200) Nm of torque.

In the interior of the all-new G-Class, a mixture of off-road ruggedness and premium features creates a unique atmosphere. Many exterior design elements seamlessly transition into the cabin, such as the side air vents mirroring the round headlights, now with optional illumination. Retaining its iconic character, the passenger-side grab handle remains intact.

The controls for the three differential locks remain prominent, now with added convenience, including quick access to the OFFROAD COCKPIT. Standard features include the latest-generation multifunction steering wheel with touch control surfaces, upholstered in nappa leather, along with ambient lighting and comprehensive leather upholstery, enhancing the overall ambience.

Driving aids including adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-keeping assistance are standard on the G-Class, increasing safety. For added convenience, self-parking assist comes standard, while an optional advanced adaptive cruise control system with lane-centering capability enhances the driving experience further.

Mercedes-Benz offers a competitive limited powertrain warranty in line with other luxury automakers but doesn’t include complimentary scheduled maintenance. 

The limited warranty spans four years or 50,000 miles, providing coverage for various components. Similarly, the powertrain warranty extends for four years, or 50,000 miles, ensuring support for essential engine and transmission components.
