Cadillac, amidst its year-long celebration of two decades of V-Series models, has discreetly introduced the 2024 CT4-V and CT5-V along with their corresponding Blackwing editions.

The base CT4-V’s manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) sees a slight uptick from $46,595 to $47,095. As for the CT4-V Blackwing, it climbs from $60,995 to $61,495. The smallest member of Cadillac’s V-Series lineup comes equipped with a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged inline-four engine, delivering a robust 325 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Meanwhile, the CT4-V Blackwing retains its mighty 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6, generating an impressive 472 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque. Buyers have the option of a six-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic.

Both models receive fresh updates in the form of an Anniversary grille and an array of new color choices. These options include Cyber Yellow Metallic, Coastal Blue Metallic, Velocity Red, and Black Diamond Tricoat. The metallic paint options come with a reasonable price tag of $625, while the Black Diamond Tricoat demands a more substantial investment of $1,995. The Blackwing variant proudly showcases its signature lettering beneath the renowned V-Series badge, situated on the sides and rear.

Moving on to the CT5-V, it houses a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that generates a healthy output of 360 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. Similar to the CT4-V, it is exclusively paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The starting price for the CT5-V stands at $52,890, representing a mere $500 increase compared to the previous model year.

For those seeking the ultimate performance experience, the CT5-V Blackwing carries a price tag of $94,890 when equipped with the six-speed manual transmission, while opting for the 10-speed automatic raises the price to $98,065.

Additionally, all the aforementioned new color options are also available for the CT5, and their prices remain consistent. To further distinguish the 2024 models, all mentioned variants receive updated graphics for the digital instrument cluster.

With the introduction of the CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing models, Cadillac has unquestionably hit the mark, positioning itself to directly challenge BMW. As the BMW 5 Series no longer offers a V8 engine option, the CT5-V Blackwing effectively dominates the segment of high-performance sedans priced around $100,000. Furthermore, the CT4 Blackwing comes at a much more affordable price than the BMW M3, offering a manual gearbox that provides an infinitely more gratifying driving experience compared to the automatic transmission found in its Bavarian counterpart.
