The 2025 Macan Turbo S EV is part of Porsche’s ambitious plan to electrify its lineup. It rides on the brand’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, co-developed with Audi. 

The Macan Turbo S EV functions as two updated permanently excited synchronous vehicles (PSM), one for the front wheels and one for the rear, supplying all-wheel power and torque vectoring. These vehicles are linked via a degree, single-velocity transmission. The Macan Turbo S EV hastens from zero to 60 mph in only 3.1 seconds and has a pinnacle velocity of 161 mph.

The Macan Turbo S EV will be available in three trims: base Macan (RWD or AWD), Macan S (AWD), and Macan Turbo (AWD). The braking system features 13.8-inch front rotors on the base, 14.8-inch on the Macan S, and 15.7-inch on the Turbo. All U.S Macans have air suspension for off-road mode, meeting the SUV legal definition.

Sportiness, luxury, and technology are all combined in the Macan Turbo S EV’s cabin. With customizable information displays, the 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster is one of its advantages. Premium materials like leather, aluminum, and carbon fiber adorn the cabin. A large central touchscreen offers access to navigation, media, and vehicle settings.

The Macan EV also provides ample passenger space, especially in the second row and modern improvements that beautify the driving experience consist of voice control, adaptive cruise management, which helps with preserving one’s lane.

The Macan Turbo S EV’s exterior is sleek, aerodynamic, and unmistakably Porsche. The layout keeps the sporty essence of the original Macan even as optimizing aerodynamics, with a low drag coefficient of 0.25 enhancing performance.

Its rounded shapes are reminiscent of a utility coupe, and its unique daytime running lights are akin to those of the Taycan.
