On public roads, the five-door Jimny has already been seen testing. Also recently discovered was the production version without the swirly concealments. Due to copyright concerns, we are unable to use the images of the spied production model. However, our unofficial rendering is largely accurate, with the exception of the black top, as reported by Autocar India and Rushlane. The body-color roof was on the spotted production model.
The wheelbase and overall body length of the five-door Suzuki Jimny will be 300 millimeters longer than those of the three-door version. The width, according to reports, will be the same.
To accommodate the additional length, a second half-window is added to the rear. Other than that, the design of the three-door and five-door versions is largely the same. Naturally, since the wheelbase has been significantly extended, we anticipate a welcome increase in legroom in the rear.
Best Car Web also said that the Japanese five-door Jimny might have a hybrid powertrain. An additional 33 horsepower (25 kilowatts) and 44 pound-feet (60 Newton-meters) of torque are said to be produced by the electric motor.
